Overview

We designed and developed a modern, responsive official website for Grameen Shakti, a globally recognized social enterprise founded by Nobel laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus. The platform supports their mission of providing sustainable renewable energy solutions to rural Bangladesh, with a focus on socio-economic development, women’s empowerment, poverty reduction, and green job creation.

Problem and Solutions

Problem: Grameen Shakti needed a digital platform that could effectively showcase its projects, share updates, and manage job postings while being easy to maintain. Their existing setup lacked responsive design, centralized control, and smooth media update capabilities.

Solution: We built a fully responsive website that can be completely managed from a central dashboard, allowing quick updates to news, media, and social channels. It also includes modules for job offerings, applications, and organizational highlights, ensuring better engagement and operational efficiency.

Development Tools and Technology Stack

We selected a technology stack to ensure scalability, ease of maintenance, and fast performance:

• Backend: Node.js for robust server-side development.

• Frontend: React.js for an interactive and responsive interface.

• Database: MongoDB for flexible and efficient data storage.

Since launch, the website has reached 50K+ monthly visits, significantly boosting outreach and stakeholder engagement. The centralized dashboard has reduced content update time, while responsive design ensures accessibility for users across devices and regions.
